If you’re a Game Pass Ultimate member, looking for a way to earn some extra Microsoft Rewards points, take a look at Game Pass Quests. These are really nice and (somewhat) fun ways to get a few points every day, week and month. I’ll take a few moments and explain their reset, what they are, and how they operate. Additionally, I’ll provide a few tips and tricks to help you maximize your quest experience here
Daily
Typically, there have been two daily quests every day since these were introduced, and they are as follows
- Game Login
Login to any Game Pass game. You don’t have to play it, just login to the game. Can be on your xBox, or through the cloud, or remote play - Mobile Game Pass Login
Login to your mobile Game Pass app every day
Weekly
These reset every Tuesday. The quests will vary, but there are typically a few that reoccur every week. They are
- Complete 4 daily quests
Simple and easy. These don’t even have to be completed in the same week - Earn Your Way
Get 3 achievements, or play 3 different Game Pass Games - Earn an Achievement in Game Pass
Earn an Achievement in any Game Pass Game
Additionally, there are usually 2 more quests for the weekly set. One will be a login, and one a (somewhat) easy thing to do. Sometimes there are more, but not often
Monthly
Monthly quests are where the real points are at. Like weekly, there are some that reoccur, but others that do not. These reset on the first Tuesday of every month
Redemption
To determine what quests are available to you, and to redeem them, all you need to do is login to your xBox, open up the Game Pass application, and scroll down to quests. As new quests become available (monthly and weekly), you’ll find them here. If guide links are available, we’ll add those in as well.
Tips and Tricks
Now, for the promised tips and tricks. These will help you maximize your quest experience to the fullest, and reduce time spent (I promise) doing these somewhat repetitive things
- Daily Quests
Daily quests are great, but they do not need to be turned in on the day they are completed. In fact, what I tend to do is, once the weekly set is complete, I’ll just skip turning them in until the next week. This gives me that 4 daily quests completion on Tuesday - Play the Game
These quests don’t require you to spend any time playing the game at all. You can simply pull up the load screen, and the Game Pass notification should ding complete - Multiple Players
If you have multiple Game Pass users in the household (for example, my roommate and I are both Game Pass Ultimate subscribers), make sure all subscribers are logged into the console when you do the ‘play the game’ quests. This will complete the quest for all of you. This goes for daily, weekly, even the monthly login quests
