Xbox Insiders have been talking for a while about the ‘new’ Xbox UI, and sharing both pics and opinions on it. Starting today, it is being rolled out to those not on the Insider tiers, and will continue rolling out to individuals over the next few weeks. Here’s a few of the new things to it.
- All apps have been removed from the home page
- You can no longer click on a game to start the game (outside of the first row). This now takes you to the ‘game card’
- Apps can no longer be added to the home page
- There is now one complete row (smaller tiles) of recent games to quick launch
- Tiles are smaller
